What is Abortion?

Abortion is the early termination (end) of pregnancy . it can be of the following types :
Spontaneous : starts on its own due to chromosomal/ hormonal/ infectious/ traumatic / unknown problems.
Induced :when the patient choose for the termination on her own. This is called MTP (Medical Termination of Pregnancy).
